… Informatics, telecommunications, logistics, transports: the key words of the future

The study and research activity of the IIC is daily represented by the innovative services for passengers and goods transport and for the information exchange.

The research group productions and the congresses proceedings focus on the themes of transports, telecommunications and informatics, examined in their reciprocal interrelations.

The IIC offers its knowledge, competences and a rich library (both electronic-based and paper-based) at the disposal of institutions, companies, commercial operators, young researchers, students and of anybody who wants to delve into the institutional activities' themes.

Among the strong points of IIC's operative approach, there are the collaboration national and international relationships with  universities, High Reputation companies and important experts in the communications field (in the broader meaning of the term).

The IIC personnel is often contacted and invited both as speaker and as moderator at congresses and workshops on transport related themes at national and international level.
