WIFI (Wireless Fidelity) Project in Villa Piaggio (the IIC's headquarters)

The Internet connection offered by the IIC in a experimental way and in accordance with the normative in force represents the first experience of this kind put into practice in Genoa.
Since some months the area surrounding Villa Piaggio offers a good wi-fi cover and necessary experimentations in order to exchange data at very high speed among buildings, placed at different kilometres far from each other but within eyesight range, are being developed.

 

With the recent admission of EandS Group within the IIC's partners, technologic wireless applications (Bluetooth) are being experimented for the tourist field.
A demonstration area has been set up within the IIC's headquarters.
